I knew the “new” Guile was absolutely jacked thanks to his reveal trailer, but I didn’t understand just how jacked he was until that jumpsuit came off and those shoulders came out to play. Ryu and Chun-Li look more or less like updated versions of the characters we’ve come to know and love over the years, but Guile genuinely frightens me. In a recent Twitter post, Capcom revealed classic costumes for Ryu, Guile, and Chun-Li, and they are a marvelous merging of what I love about Street Fighter 6‘s visual style and what made these costumes classics. I love the new designs, but I’d be lying if I said the old-school designs didn’t have a special place in my heart.įortunately, Capcom has my back. Ryu, Guile, and Chun-Li are all confirmed to be coming back for next year’s title, and they’ve been given some pretty slick makeovers.
